Privacy Policy

DuaDhikr is built with privacy as a core principle. All personal data — your prayer settings, mood check-ins, dua history, and verse history — is stored exclusively on your device. We do not operate a user database and cannot access any of your data.

DuaDhikr does not require an account. No name, email address, or persistent identifier is ever linked to your usage.

On-device only (never sent to us):

• Onboarding survey answers (gender, prayer habits, goals)
• Mood and closeness ratings from daily check-ins
• Your dua and Quranic verse history
• Subscription status and app preferences
• Screen Time app selection (stored as opaque tokens — we never know which apps you selected)

Collected automatically by analytics:

• Device model and iOS version (for crash diagnostics)
• App session events (screens visited, feature interactions — anonymized, no user identifiers)

When generating your daily dua, the app sends a short, anonymous context payload to our API. This payload contains no personally identifiable information and is not stored on our servers. Your dua input is used solely to generate a response — it is never logged, retained, or associated with your device.

The following third-party services process limited data as part of the app's operation:

Analytics events processed by PostHog are retained for up to 12 months. We never sell, rent, or share your data with third parties for advertising or any other commercial purpose.

Because all personal data lives on your device, deleting the app removes all associated data immediately. There is nothing stored server-side to delete. To request deletion of any anonymized analytics events, contact us at the address below.

DuaDhikr is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect any data from users under 13. If you believe a child has used the app, contact us and we will ensure any associated analytics events are purged.

GDPR (EEA residents): You have the right to access, rectify, or erase personal data held about you. Because all personal data is stored on your device, you can exercise these rights by deleting the app. To request erasure of any anonymized analytics events linked to your device, contact us at the address below.

CCPA (California residents): You have the right to know what personal information is collected and to request its deletion. DuaDhikr does not sell personal information. Because all personal data is on-device, deleting the app fulfills a deletion request. For analytics event deletion, contact us below.
